— 01 / CONSULTATION

Wrinkle consultation.

A consultation and clinical assessment for expression lines and facial-movement concerns — with personalised planning by an experienced practitioner. We start by understanding your face and what’s on your mind, then talk through what’s realistic for you, in private.

— 02 / ABOUT WRINKLE CONSULTATIONS

About wrinkle consultations.

Every face is different, and so is every concern. A wrinkle consultation begins with a conversation — understanding what’s bothering you, assessing your skin and how your face moves, and talking honestly about whether, and how, we might help. No two plans are the same.

Some options a practitioner may discuss are prescription treatments. By law, these can only be considered after a consultation and approval by a prescriber, and can’t be advertised or detailed publicly — the specifics stay in the room with you, not on this page.

WHAT TO DISCUSS

  • A clinical assessment of the areas you’d like to discuss
  • Your goals and what you’d like to address
  • Any options the practitioner may discuss — how they work, what’s involved
  • Associated risks, side effects and aftercare considerations

ALSO COVERED

  • Suitability, including any contraindications relevant to you
  • Time to ask questions before any decision is made
  • Timing, follow-up appointments and ongoing care
  • Individual outcomes may vary — this is a cosmetic consultation only

— 03 / WHAT TO EXPECT

What to expect during your appointment.

Personalised consultation

Your appointment begins with a clinical discussion of your concerns, goals and expectations. The practitioner assesses your facial anatomy and movement to support a personalised plan, with information provided ahead of any decision.

Preparation

Where appropriate, the area is prepared in line with clinical practice standards. Specific steps are discussed during your consultation, based on what’s being assessed.

Duration & recovery

Appointment length varies between individuals and is discussed with you. Most people can resume daily activities afterwards; recovery varies, and the practitioner explains what to expect.

Post-appointment care

Aftercare is personalised and discussed with you, so you know what to expect in the days that follow. Follow-up may be scheduled depending on your circumstances.

— 04 / ABOUT EXPRESSION LINES

About facial expression lines.

Facial expression lines develop over time as a natural part of how skin moves. Two types are commonly distinguished — and which of them, if any, is worth addressing depends entirely on you.

Whether expression lines are something to address, and what approach might suit, depends on your individual anatomy, your concerns and what’s realistic to achieve — reviewed clinically during your consultation. This section is general information only.

DYNAMIC LINES

Appear when you actively express — smiling, frowning, raising your brows. They follow muscle movement and are most visible when the face is animated.

STATIC LINES

Remain visible even at rest. Over time, repeated movement, sun exposure and changes in skin elasticity can make lines more visible at rest.

REVIEWED WITH YOU

Whether lines are worth addressing — and how — is assessed clinically and in person, based on your anatomy and goals. Never from a page.

— 06 / FREQUENTLY ASKED

The questions we get most.

Why isn't pricing or treatment detail shown online?

Australian regulations don’t allow prescription treatments to be advertised, priced or described to the public. Those conversations happen privately, in a consultation — which is exactly where they belong.

No. A consultation is just that. Many people come to understand their options and decide later, or decide it isn’t for them. There’s no pressure either way.

For higher-risk procedures, yes — and for anyone under 18 it’s mandatory. We honour cooling-off periods and encourage you to use the time.

Your medical history and any medications, plus the specific things you’d like to discuss. Questions are welcome — there are no silly ones.

These consultations aren’t advertised to or aimed at under-18s. Any care for under-18s follows strict national guidelines, including mandatory cooling-off periods.
