— 01 / CONSULTATION
Volume Loss Consultation.
A consultation and clinical assessment for facial volume and definition concerns — with personalised planning by an experienced practitioner. We start by understanding your face and what’s on your mind, then talk through what’s realistic for you, in private.
— 02 / ABOUT VOLUME LOSS CONSULTATIONS
About volume loss consultations.
Every face is different, and so is every concern. A volume loss consultation begins with a conversation — understanding what’s bothering you, assessing your skin and how your face has changed over time, and talking honestly about whether, and how, we might help. No two plans are the same.
Some of the options a practitioner may discuss are cosmetic medical procedures. These are only ever considered after a consultation and assessment, and the specifics — what might suit, and what’s involved — stay in the room with you, discussed privately rather than detailed on this page.
WHAT TO DISCUSS
- A clinical assessment of the areas you’d like to discuss
- Your goals and what you’d like to address
- Any options the practitioner may discuss — how they work, what’s involved
- Associated risks, side effects and aftercare considerations
ALSO COVERED
- Suitability, including any contraindications relevant to you
- Time to ask questions before any decision is made
- Timing, follow-up appointments and ongoing care
- Individual outcomes may vary — this is a cosmetic consultation only
— 03 / WHAT TO EXPECT
What to expect during your appointment.
Personalised consultation
Your appointment begins with a clinical discussion of your concerns, goals and expectations. The practitioner assesses your facial anatomy to support a personalised plan, with information provided ahead of any decision.
Preparation
Where appropriate, the area is prepared in line with clinical practice standards. Specific steps are discussed during your consultation, based on what’s being assessed.
Duration & recovery
Appointment length varies between individuals and is discussed with you. Most people can resume daily activities afterwards; recovery varies, and the practitioner explains what to expect.
Post-appointment care
Aftercare is personalised and discussed with you, so you know what to expect in the days that follow. Follow-up may be scheduled depending on your circumstances.
— 04 / ABOUT VOLUME & DEFINITION
About facial volume and definition.
Facial volume and definition change over time as a natural part of how the face ages — cheeks soften, folds become more noticeable, and structure shifts. It happens gradually, and how much it bothers you is entirely personal.
Whether volume or definition is something to address — and what approach might suit — depends on your individual anatomy, your concerns and what’s realistic to achieve. These factors are reviewed clinically during your consultation. This section is general information only.
STRUCTURE
Cheeks, jaw and mid-face give the face its framework. Changes here are a normal part of how faces age.
BALANCE
Any approach respects proportion — the face is assessed as a whole, not one feature in isolation.
REVIEWED WITH YOU
Whether, where and how much is assessed clinically and in person — never from a page.

— 06 / FREQUENTLY ASKED
The questions we get most.
Why isn't pricing or detail shown online?
Because the right plan depends on your face and what genuinely suits you — that’s decided in a consultation, not from a menu. We quote transparently once we’ve assessed you, in private.
Do I have to decide anything on the day?
No. A consultation is just that. Many people come to understand their options and decide later, or decide it isn’t for them. There’s no pressure either way.
Who will I see?
An experienced practitioner, who assesses your suitability before anything is considered.
No. A consultation is just that. Many people come to understand their options and decide later, or decide it isn’t for them. There’s no pressure either way.
Is there a cooling-off period?
For higher-risk procedures, yes — and for anyone under 18 it’s mandatory. We honour cooling-off periods and encourage you to use the time.
What should I bring?
Your medical history and any medications, plus the specific things you’d like to discuss. Questions are welcome — there are no silly ones.
Can under-18s book?
These consultations aren’t advertised to or aimed at under-18s. Any care for under-18s follows strict national guidelines, including mandatory cooling-off periods.
