— 01 / CONSULTATION

PRX-Plus.

A consultation and clinical assessment for skin brightness, firmness and texture, using a needle-free, topical skin booster, planned personally by an experienced practitioner. We start by understanding your skin and what’s on your mind, then talk through what’s realistic for you.

— 02 / ABOUT PRX-PLUS

About PRX-Plus.

PRX-Plus is a topical skin booster made in Italy by WiQo. It’s applied to the skin with a massage technique rather than injected, and is designed to work on brightness, firmness and texture, which may help improve how even, refined and refreshed the skin looks. It is not a chemical peel: the formula is designed to be absorbed without visibly exfoliating the surface. Individual results vary.

A consultation comes first. We assess your skin and your suitability, talk honestly about whether and how much it may help, and explain what’s involved. It’s often planned on its own, and sometimes alongside treatments such as skin needling, IPL or LED. No two plans are the same.

WHAT TO DISCUSS

  • A clinical assessment of your skin and the areas you’d like to discuss
  • Your goals and what you’d like to address
  • How the treatment works and what’s involved
  • Associated risks, side effects and aftercare considerations

ALSO COVERED

  • Suitability, including any contraindications relevant to you
  • Time to ask questions before any decision is made
  • Timing, sessions and ongoing care
  • Individual outcomes may vary — this is a cosmetic treatment

— 03 / WHAT TO EXPECT

What to expect during your appointment.

Personalised consultation

Your appointment begins with a clinical discussion of your concerns, goals and expectations. The practitioner assesses your skin to support a personalised plan, with information provided ahead of any decision.

Preparation

The skin is cleansed and prepared with a pH-balancing solution so the product can be absorbed evenly. Specific steps are discussed during your consultation, based on what’s being assessed.

Duration & recovery

The application itself usually takes around 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the areas treated, and most people return to their day straight after. A mild tingling during application is common and short-lived; the practitioner explains what to expect for you.

Post-appointment care

Aftercare is simple and discussed with you. A nourishing moisturiser is applied after treatment, daily broad-spectrum SPF 50 is recommended, and retinoids and certain other treatments are paused for a short period.

No. PRX-Plus is formulated to be absorbed into the skin rather than to remove its outer layer, so there’s no visible peeling or frosting. Your practitioner explains how it compares with a peel and which may suit you.

No. A consultation is just that. Many people come to understand their options and decide later, or decide it isn’t for them. There’s no pressure either way.

Generally minimal. Most people return to normal activities straight away. Mild redness or a tingling sensation during application can occur and usually settles quickly; the practitioner explains what to expect for you.
